Prensoland is committed to Fundació Impulsa and becomes an Impulse Organization to provide equal opportunities for young people.
As of this March, we are collaborators with Fundació Impulsa. An entity that helps motivated young people, but with a vulnerable socio-economic situation, so they can pursue a vocational training program. In this process, they are also offered an economic scholarship for two or four years, a computer, training in emotional and work-related issues, and the support of a volunteer who serves as a mentor.
This collaboration is another strategy within the company to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. By working towards equal opportunities and simultaneously striving to reduce the rate of premature school dropout, which currently exceeds the national average in Catalonia (16.9% in Catalonia, 13.9% in Spain, and 9.6% in Europe).
Therefore, we synergize with Fundació Impulsa, which operates through the established and innovative Impulsa Method. A method through which over 560 young people around Catalonia have already benefited, achieving a graduation rate of over 85% annually, well above the 50% average in Catalonia. Specifically, Fundació Impulsa has been present in Osona since its inception in 2015, and since then, 218 young people have been awarded scholarships.
The collaboration of over 170 Impulse Organizations that trust in the work of Fundació Impulsa is essential to continue guaranteeing the Impulsa Method and the economic sustainability of the project. Therefore, Prensoland firmly supports this social cause, which should provide a short-term social return for these vulnerable young people.
